Balancing Chemical Equations      GO BACK TO CHEMISTRY DRILLS PAGE

Below are ten different word equations, two for each of the five kinds of chemical reactions we have learned about so far.

You job is to be able to balance them perfectly, with phase symbols.  Each equation will have a link to the next page in the sequence to help you learn how to properly balance chemical equations.  Or you could just "jump ahead" to the final answer for each equation.  If you have made a mistake, you can go back and go step by step through each of the steps, reading the explanations along the way, to learn how to do this correctly each time.

Get some paper, balance each one, and check to see how well you figured things out.
